The conductive gel is ideal for people who find it difficult to accurately monitor their heart rate using ECG heart rate and often see gaps and in their recorded data. The gel is compatible will all chest transmitter straps. The conductive cream reinforces the connection between your skin and electrodes allowing for accurate uninterrupted readings. The Secondary feature of the electrode gel is to reduce skin irritation sometimes caused by wearing the chest transmitter strap too tightly and for very long periods of time.
